Hi, I'm Kev, an ordinary bloke from Stoke with an extraordinary mission. Once fit and seemingly healthy, my cancer diagnosis came out of nowhere. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. Now living with Stage 4 cancer for the second time, and facing what’s termed a “terminal” diagnosis, I’ve made it my purpose to spend the rest of my life fighting this brutal disease, so that future generations never have to fear the words, “I’m sorry, you’ve got cancer.”
Since my own battle began with colorectal cancer in 2020, the name Cancer My Arse felt like the perfect fit. As Snoopy wisely said, “Every time you find some humour in a difficult situation, you win.” And that’s exactly what we’re doing, taking on cancer with grit, heart, and a healthy dose of humour.
Since our first event in October 2024, Cancer My Arse has raised over £200,000 for cancer research and support services, by uniting a community of fighters, survivors, and supporters who refuse to give up. None more inspiring than my friend, and fundraising legend, Ben Young MBE, who recently rallied his yachting community for an epic 930km cycling challenge to help us push the mission even further.

Our aim is to inspire hope and unite people in the relentless pursuit of better treatments and cures. Your support will help to amplify this cause, raising vital funds that will help to make a difference! Every contribution fuels lifesaving research, improves patient care, and strengthens community awareness, bringing us one step closer to a world free from cancer.
Our approach is simple but audacious: challenge people to engage in a series of fun, daring, or physical activities that spark conversations and drive donations to cancer charities. By leveraging social media, community events, and personal networks, we encourage participants to share their stories, challenges, and commitment to beating cancer.
